Abbé Cyriaque Shumbusho

Vice-President of the Rwandan Federation of Pueri Cantores

Abbé Cyriaque Shumbusho is the Catholic Priest who lives at “Petit Séminaire Saint Kizito de Zaza” located in in Zaza parish of Kibungo Diocese in the Eastern part of Rwanda. He is such an incredible singer and musician who knows many rules and techniques that truly make a vocal performance stand out. In the different choir competitions organized in the various parts of Rwanda, he has been providing a technical expertise and recently, he was chairing the panel overseeing all Pueri Cantores competitions in the national Congress held in Ruhengeri Diocese in December 2017. As a member of the national federation, directors of all Pueri Cantores nationwide are becoming technically consistent and this manifests itself in the different gatherings and festivals as well as concerts organized by the regional federations. Cyriaque does this with great zeal and enthusiasm and the impact has been so far huge: federation members especially the directors of Pueri Cantores communities are now technically consistent with rapidly growing sense of musicality. In addition to that, Cyriaque is the Chaplain of the Diocesan Federation of Pueri Cantores of Kibungo Diocese.
